Wild Horse Mesa,
Colorado Properties for Sale
In Southern Colorado is one of the oldest town
called San Luis. On the south end of this town is the beautiful Wild
Horse Mesa. Up here I have 3 wonderful 2.acre properties for sale.
It just so happened the electrical lines feeding this mesa go right
down the roads that these properties are on. So electricity will be
less expensive to hook up to. Climb the winding road up to the top
and see one of the most beautiful and breath taking sights in all of
Colorado. There you will have a spectacular view of the surrounding
mountains. There are three National Forest. To the North, is the
Sangre de Cristo Mountains and to the East, the San Juan Mountains.
On top is the Sanchez Reservoir where you can fish anytime for Trout
& Northern Pike. Also there are plenty of deer, elk and wild horses
up here. Hwy. 159 passes around the mesa and heads to the wonderful
New Mexico border and you can be in the arties town of Taos in about
60 minutes. If you choose to go north, you can go northwest and be
in Alamosa in about 45 minutes.
This is truly the most quiet and beautiful place to build a new home
for peaceful vacations or to live permanently. There are many
contractors available to help in your construction. You can purchase
early before these lots are all sold. You may contact me at anytime
for any questions or needed information. Contact seller for
prices!

Wild
Horse Mesa, Colorado
Beautiful
Wild Horse Mesa overlooks Lake Sanchez and the Sangre de
Cristo Mountains in Southern Colorado. Skiing is 20 minutes
away at Costilla Ski resort and 48 miles from Red River New
Mexico and 65 miles from Taos Ski Basin. The
area is nestled in the fabulous San Luis Valley in southern
Colorado, the world's highest true valley. Located on Hwy.
#159 just five miles north of the Colorado-New Mexico state
line. The San Luis Valley is ringed by the three National
Forests of the San Juans and Sangre de Cristo Mountains.
Hwy. #159 changes numbers at the state line, so Taos is down
New Mexico Hwy. #3. Red River is just off Hwy. #3. San Luis,
the oldest town in Colorado, adjoins the north end of the
area. Lake Sanchez, is great for sailing and water
sports. You will find Northern Pike and Rainbow Trout in
Lake Sanchez and surrounding area. The area abounds with
wild sage and pinon pine home to wild horses, deer, elk and
squirrel. Overhead are eagles, ravens and bluebirds.
This is a nice area to build that dream home or to buy
property for investment purposes.
