Bend, Arkansas is a beautiful area just 20 miles from
Cherokee Village and 150 miles from Little Rock. It is
a great place for vacations, retirement or for investment
purposes. The average temperature is about 64 degrees and
the summers average only 82 degrees. Recreation in
this area is abundant, especially areas for fishing and
boating. Horseshoe Bend offers the North, Crown,
Diamond and Pioneer Lakes as well as the White, Strawberry
and Spring Rivers.
The Turkey
Mountain Country Club offers 18 holes of championship golf,
tennis courts, shuffle board, miniature golf, horseshoe
pits, swimming pools, club house and an activity center for
casual dining. There is also a 3-par 18-hole golf
course, lighted for night golfing, opening this season.
